Today at the first day of E3, Nintendo had some big news. The much awaited Nintendo 3DS is here! The 3DS has an upper 3.5-inch 3D display which requires no glasses. The bottom touchscreen remains unchanged. There is a slider on the side of the device which allows you to adjust the depth and appearance of the 3D affect on the upper screen. That little dial thing on the left is called the “Slide Pad” and is similar to an analog stick. Other features include a motion sensor, gyroscope, 2 3D-capable cameras, and DSi game compatibility. There is no official word on pricing or release date yet but we do know that the 3DS will come in blue and red. According to the people we’ve heard from who are at E3, this thing is pretty cool!
