Google Drive Has Landed

Google Drive Google Drive Has LandedGoogle Drive, Google’s new Cloud Service, went officially live today. After bringing much excitement from last week’s leak, Google

Drive is something to be excited about. Now, depending on your Google account you are either already in, or on the “wait list.” My personal email was put on the wait list while my YouTube email was ready to go. The new service eliminates Google Docs and merges it. You can download the client on your Mac, PC, and Android phones. iOS devices are going to have to wait a little bit longer. The service has a fantastic variety of pricing plans. In fact, this is what makes so competitive to services like Amazon Cloud, iCloud, and Dropbox. After you sign up, you get 5Gb of free storage, 10GB of Gmail storage, and 1GB of Picasa Web Albums storage. The other pricing plans include:

25GB for $2.49 a month
100GB for $4.99 a month
200GB for $9.99 a month
400GB for $19.99 a month
1 TB for $49.99 a month
2 TB for $99.99 a month
4 TB for $199.99 a month
8 TB for $399.99 a month
16 TB for 799.99 a month
